Every child deserves a future bright with possibilities, yet for countless children in rural India, that future remains out of reach.

Lakshyartha Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful belief: the circumstances of a child’s birth should never determine the boundaries of his/her future. Guided by its founding principles of education, equity and empowerment, Lakshyartha Foundation has been working tirelessly to change this reality and create meaningful opportunities for children from economically and socially disadvantaged communities.

Through its allied institutions, the Foundation has committed itself to one powerful mission: bringing quality education to the doorsteps of underprivileged children in rural areas, with a special focus on the girl child.

WHERE WE WORK

For the past two years, Lakshyartha International School, under the aegis of Lakshyartha Foundation, has been operational in Village – Akbarpur Beniganj, Tehsil – Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, a deeply rural and economically backward region.

The community here is composed largely of farm laborers who survive on irregular daily wages. Poverty, compounded by entrenched social backwardness, pushes families to keep their children home – to help in fields, manage household chores, and quietly give up on the dream of education. The girl child suffers the most.

We refuse to accept that as their destiny.

WHAT WE HAVE BUILT FOR THEM

To ensure maximum enrollment and retention of children of rural areas, especially the female students, the school has implemented comprehensive support structures. Since our inception, the school has put in place every possible support to make education accessible, dignified, and empowering for these children.

Our key initiatives include:

• Quality infrastructure designed to instill confidence, dignity and self-worth.
• Green, clean and hygienic campus.
• Separate and well-maintained toilets for girl students.
• Central RO for providing clean drinking water.
• Sports facilities for holistic development.
• Life skills training to prepare children for real world challenges.
• Well-trained, dedicated teachers.
• Modern and innovative educational techniques.
• Minimal fee structure to make education accessible to all.
• School uniforms, books, and stationery provided at cost.
• No admission fee for girl students.
• 20% discount on tuition fee for girl students.
• Full educational sponsorship for selected students from extremely poor backgrounds, including free tuition, uniform, books, stationery, and educational tours (subject to availability of funds).

Our objective is not simply to enroll children, but to make them stay in school, learn with confidence and build a future beyond the limitations of poverty.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT

1. Sponsoring a Child’s Education (Financial Donation)

   Contribute the annual amount corresponding to the class of the child you wish to sponsor, as per the fee schedule above.

2. Donate Books for Our Library

   A well-stocked library opens doors to knowledge that textbooks alone cannot. You may donate books, fiction, non-fiction, encyclopedias, reference material, or age-appropriate reading, to help us build a rich and inspiring library for our students.

3. Donate Computers for the Computer Lab

   Digital literacy is no longer optional, it is essential. You may donate desktop computers, laptops, or accessories to help us equip and expand our computer lab, giving these children the technological edge they deserve.

4. Contribute Towards Our Robotics Lab

   We are actively working towards establishing a Robotics Lab to nurture innovation, logical thinking, and STEM skills among our students. You may contribute equipment, kits, components, or funds towards this initiative and help us bring future-ready education to rural children.

5. Miscellaneous Items
